Lara Piccolo Holds Annual Concert Omolara Adetola Fadare otherwise called Lara Piccolo will on Sunday, 11 September, 2016 hold the debut edition of her annual praise concert tagged Baba Nla alongside Awards. The concert organized by Lara Piccolo & Streams of Honey Voices holds at Zion African Church, Alagbaa, Iyana Ipaja. Lagos. According to Lara Piccolo the annual praise concert is aimed at reaching out and supporting the less privileged in the society. The Imesi-Ile, Osun State born Piccolo added that merit awards will be given to several distinguished personalities in the society in recognition of their immense support to her ministry.
The awardees include Dr. Ambrose Shomide, Timi Orokoya, Evangelist Felicia Dupe Olulana Alhaji Ismail Yekini Abiodun Oropo, Olori Barakat Olabisi Akamo, wife of Olu of Itori, Ekundayo Afolayan Moroof and Otunba Titus Babajide among others. Expected guest artistes are Lanre Teriba, Segun Glorious, Bunmi Akinnaanu, Dele Gold, Paul Friday (Omo Abule) ,Segun Ogedengbe from United Kingdom and others. Piccolo, who began a career in music as a chorister at Zion African Church at a tender age has won several awards, local and international including Most Beautiful and Best Female Gospel Artiste of The Year by the youth of God’s paradise Pentecostal church, Bariga, Best Female Gospel Artiste of the Year by Golden Mothers’ Club, Abuja among others. She debuted with Kabiesi Eledumare in 2007 followed by 120 Highest Praises and Ori in 2010 and 2015 respectively all from the stable of Abiodun Oropo Films & Records. Lara, whose latest collabo, Baba Nla, with Paul Friday (Omo Abule) is enjoying appreciable air-play said she looks up to Evangelist Dupe Olulana as her role model.
